Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival at Your Safari Lodge
Pick-up and scenic drive to Bwindi. Check in to your comfortable mid-range safari lodge overlooking the forest. Welcome briefing from your guide, followed by dinner on the terrace with views of the Impenetrable Forest.
Gorilla Trekking Experience
After breakfast at the lodge, report to UWA headquarters. Briefing by rangers, then trek into the forest. The hike takes 2–8 hours through dense vegetation, river crossings and hills. Spend one magical hour with a gorilla family. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch and afternoon at leisure. Optional guided nature walk.
Departure
Leisurely breakfast. Depart Bwindi with scenic stops along the way. Transfer to your next destination, Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation, or back to Entebbe.
