1. Booking Requests

All bookings with Misty Gorilla Expeditions Ltd begin as inquiries. A booking is confirmed only after we have agreed on the itinerary, price and payment terms, and you have received a written confirmation from us. Submitting a contact form or WhatsApp message does not constitute a binding booking.

2. Price Confirmation

All prices are quoted individually based on the requested services, group size, season and availability. Prices are valid only after written confirmation and may be subject to change due to external factors such as permit fee adjustments, fuel costs or currency fluctuations.

3. Payment Terms

4. Cancellation Policy

5. Park Fees & Permits

National park entry fees and gorilla trekking permits are set by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) and are subject to change. Permit availability is not guaranteed and depends on UWA allocation. We assist with permit booking but are not responsible for permit availability or price changes imposed by UWA.

6. Accommodation

Accommodation is arranged based on availability at the time of booking. While we do our best to secure preferred lodges and guesthouses, alternatives of similar standard may be offered if the requested accommodation is unavailable.

7. Force Majeure

Misty Gorilla Expeditions Ltd is not liable for delays, changes or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, severe weather, political instability, pandemics, road closures, government regulations or any other unforeseeable circumstances.

8. Responsibility & Liability

We take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests. However, travel in Uganda involves inherent risks including but not limited to: wildlife encounters, rough terrain, variable road conditions and tropical weather. Guests participate in all activities at their own risk.Misty Gorilla Expeditions Ltd is not liable for personal injury, loss of property or any other damages unless caused by our gross negligence.

9. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation and personal belongings. Travel insurance is the responsibility of the traveler.
