Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of Africa's most ancient and biologically diverse forests. Located in southwestern Uganda, this UNESCO World Heritage Site covers over 321 square kilometers of dense tropical rainforest. It is home to approximately half of the world's remaining mountain gorilla population, making it the premier destination for gorilla trekking in Uganda.

Best Time to Visit
Bwindi can be visited year-round. The dry seasons from June to September and December to February offer the most comfortable trekking conditions, with less mud on the trails. Gorilla permits are available every day, subject to availability.
